Bollinger Special Cuvee

(Champagne, France)

A blend par excellence, the Special Cuvée is the purest expression of the Bollinger style; of its craftsmanship and its singular conception of what Champagne should be. The flavours evoke toast, nuts and citrus, while the vivid acidity keeps it all focused. Wine Spectator - 95 points.

Voyager Estate Chardonnay 2003

(Margaret River, Western Australia)

This is our favourite Chardonnay! It is the most intense, powerful and complex vintage to date. The aromas are deep and lingering with dominant citrus, tart melon and grapefruit laced with a savoury, nutty character. The palate is where the new direction for this wine strikes. The fine, elegant and almost delicate structure belies the power and intensity of the complex, sustained palate. The natural acid on the finish sustains the wine beautifully and precisely. Masi Masianco Pinot Grigio IGT

(Veneto, Italy)

A great wine from Italy, pairs very well with some of the lighter foods. This wine has an intense straw yellow colour. A good floral and citrus freshness balances the full and creamy palate. The intense attack is followed by a fresh sensation on the finish.
Excellent as an aperitif of with light appetisers, soups and the Tom Yum Steamed Fish.

Petaluma Riesling

(Clare Valley, South Australia)

This wine has stone fruit and tropical fruit aromas and flavours. Lime characters are also present. The mineral finish is muted and rounded by the influence of the relatively warm vintage.

Wairau River Sauvignon Blanc 2004

(Marlborough, New Zealand)

New Zealand is famous for its Sauvignon Blancs and this is one of the best of them! Grassy, mineral aromas with a touch of kiwifruit. The palate is tight with some good concentration and a nice vibrant lift of acidity. Most Popular Sauvignon Blanc - Wine & Spirits Magazine Annual Restaurant Poll.

E. Guigal Cotes du Rhone Blanc AOC

(Rhone Valley, France)

Made from Viognier grapes, the wine is clear, bright and yellow in colour. A fruity, fine, rich wine combining elegance and balance.

Ferrari-Carano Cabernet Sauvignon 2002

(Alexander Valley, California, USA)

The vines are dry farmed in a shallow, rocky, low vigour soil that adds to flavour intensity. This wine is friendly and quite approachable with all of the aromas and flavours that are characteristic of a classic Cabernet Sauvignon. Blackcurrant, black cherry and plum are softened by a discernable vanilla flavour fashioned from ageing in American oak.

The wines from the Saint Juliene appellation may be recognised by their unparalleled bouquet, particularly harmonious and mild. They have a fine deep colour and combine the finesse of their aromas and a solid constitution. They have body, are very rich in flavour and have a delicious and delicate bouquet. This wine has pretty liquorice and currant aromas. It is medium-bodied, with silky tannins and a medium finish. A lovely well-crafted wine that will delight. Wine Spectator – 88 points.

Gibbston Valley Pinot Noir 2003

(Central Otago , New Zealand)

An outstanding new world Pinot Noir. This vintage is showing great depth of colour. On the nose, a tempting combination of freshly tilled soil and spicy toasted wood notes lead into the palate of complex dark cherry and plum flavours, then to subtle wild thyme and a touch of aniseed on the lingering finish. Very focused varietal character.

Coriole Shiraz 2003

(McLaren Vale, South Australia)

This is Coriole Vineyards' flagship red and has been produced since 1970, a Shiraz drinkers delight. This full-bodied wine has a vibrant lifted and fragrant aroma of red fruits and chocolate. The palate is primary or fruit driven, rather than developed in its flavours and is juicy, generous, with velvety tannins. Double Gold `05 San Francisco International Wine Competition.----------

Coriole Racked Chenin Blanc 2003

(McLaren Vale, South Australia)

The wine style is one of intense varietal fruit characters with concentrated natural sweetness and acidity. Resulting in a wine that has viscosity and mouthfeel without being cloying. Overtones of dried apricots and white peaches with sweet marmalade notes and citrus peel make this a refreshing alternative to botryitised wines.
